I relocated to Austin at the beginning of 2008, and have over twelve years of experience in the graphic design industry.
I have been at the University of Texas at Austin since 2009 as the designer in the Office of Admissions. My focus is in print, but I also have experience with electronic pieces. In my spare time I work as a freelance designer, and I have a variety of clients — such as an interior design firm, play therapists, boutique clothing stores, a printing company and a pediatric dentist — just to name a few.
When I first moved to Austin, I joined a small marketing firm in south Austin, until the arrival of our daughter Morgan. Before coming to Austin, I was at Prizm Development for over five years. I still have the privilege of working on projects for them every now and then, and enjoy the ongoing relationship. In 2002, I gained extensive experience while at VWA Group, where I developed a variety of promotional pieces, designed web sites, advertisements, environmental signage and brochures.
I grew up in Michigan, where my family still resides. I moved to the East Coast to attend college, and I earned a BFA from New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts. I loved my time on the East Coast, and do greatly miss the fall and spring seasons.
I work in the latest versions of Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
